Phff. What do you expect of a son-of-a-lame plot device midichlorian like him? Even his name is a clue: Ani is just Latin for Multiple Arseholes.

Oh well, at least we know where Puke, erm Luke gets his whininess from. "But I waaana go to Taaaasche staaaation to pick up some powwwwer converters!" :)

Reading Darth Whinge's blog reminds me, I'm going to see HHGTTG tonight. Looking forward to it. Wonder if I'll hear the immortal line "I have this pain in the diodes all down my left side." delivered in That Voice?

I like the way the blog explains away the Midichlorians... as a bit of Jedi Mind Trickery designed to keep ordinary people from knowing what's really going on.

I personally think of them as bacteria that thrive in the presence of The Force; in that case, there would have to be Dark and Light strains and you should be able to detect an evile baddy by the ratio of Dark to Light Midichlorians. Unless the Sith make things look safe by scrupulous application of Midichlorox, to bleach away their dark aura until they need to do something eeebil.

About Marvin's line: which That Voice do you refer to, Snape (since they share a voice actor) or Darth Vader (which would just be funny.)

MIDICHLOROX??? *pauses to wipe coffee from monitor and keyboard.*

You are an evil, evil man. ...Don't ever change.

Re the Voice: I had been thinking of Rickman. (Like Jeremy Irons and Patrick Stewart, he's on my Aural Sex list: of those blokes who could make me go weak at the knees by reading a laundry list.) But you're right, hearing it in Vader's voice would be an utter scream.

Good stuff there.
Thanks for the links... both of them good stuff.

PS I think our previous incarnations used to chat way back on the mucks... mind if I add you to my friends list? I saw your page from a "friends of" page of a school chum and thought the "f00mf" looked familiar. (If not let me know, I really don't know the protocols here yet.)

Re: Good stuff there.
We did... the id on LJ is foomf, on a few other interfaces is f00mf because the other was taken.

Feel free to add me.

Re: Good stuff there.
Thanks, just did. Yeah, there is a lot of "Your name is already in use" going around... on this very community there was already a Rook, which was my preferred alias, but I had this one as well so I went with it.

You can find my email in User Info, I got some techie questions for you if you don't mind.
