So, the Atom Chip... fraud or hoax?

What do you think, sirs?

With the kind of money behind real quantum computing experiments, any actual launch would have a much better webpage. Hoax.

To clarify, a fraud would be more serious about trying to look legit, since it'd be trying to snooker people out of money. :)

Have you looked at the prices they plan to charge for those things? If they sell even one, it's fraud.

I looked at the page, it said "lowest price per gigabyte", must not be including the startup hardware if the cost is so high?

They're fake. The pictures of the hardware itself are ridiculous - a plastic camera lens glued to a flash memory card on top, and another on the side where the metal of the retainer appears to be blocking any light from even getting in?

Even if they're only 'marketing mock-ups' the whole thing is just unbelievable.

I wonder if they have an interocitor in their catalog somewhere.

Bigger hoax than O.J. Simpson's trial.

Too cheap a web page. The registrar is REGISTER.COM, INC, which is one of these fly-by-night domain-squatting places it looks like.

Dumb n00b question, how does one view the registrar info? I don't see it on the webpage or in the Contact Us link.

Quantum Optical Chips? Fiber-Optic Quantum Processor?

I did some serious looking into this, and here's what my simulations have found.

The main problem with that quantum processor-based computer is it doesn't interface well with a tachyon-field LAN/WAN.  Apparantly the whole thing collapses into an artificial quantum singularity if you add Macs into the mix.  Dang firewire ports.

Which is of course not a comment on Macs sucking.

OF course not! It's just a matter of incompatible warp technologies. Much like putting the core matrix of a Romulan warbird into a heavy Klingon cruiser; warp space in the wrong way and you eventually get a Failure To Exist error.
