I am heat intolerant. One day is more than enough for me :P

I'm so confused. I had no idea the upper northwest was so hot - is that typical weather for youse guys?

More words: Good God on a pogo stick, MAKE THE WEATHER NORMAL DAMMIT!

The only place west of the Rockies in the northwest where it was normal for temperatures over 80F during my childhood was in Tenino, WA. (Of course, I ended up getting blistered sunburns for those years...)

Not even remotely. We seldom see 100 degrees.

Gah! I hate hot/humid weather. I don't mind searingly hot too much, as long as it's nice and dry with it. THe amount of heat I can comfortably deal with drops dramatically as the humidity goes up.

Sooooo glad it's winter here.

It WAS 99 here yesterday with about 753% humidity. I panted walking to my car.
TODAY, however, it currently is 107 on my porch (at 4:28 PM) and usually my place is about 5 degrees cooler than Redding. The swamp cooler is blowing in soft warm air, which I guess is an improvement over hot air, but not much.
The cats look like furry flounders, flat on the floor, except for the smart ones, who are in the crawl space under the house.

Ich. Today (Sunday) it is now 104 again, but the humuggity seems to be down a couple notches.

My cats resent that I close the windows, but Clint will lay in the sun in the bedroom window (south face) with hot air blowing over him until he mummifies if I leave it open.

I feel your pain. I have no air conditioning, and it's been about like that for over a week here. For a couple of days it was over 100, so I had to make plans elsewhere so I didn't become delirious from the heat.

I heard from a person I haven't talked with in a rather long time, and found this comment.

I am curious now as to whether or not la grande fromage has managed to achieve perfect karmic realignment…

Wow ow ow. That is ... so very earnestly foolish.

I have wondered for years whether it is possible for an agency to independently become sociopathic, and I think I finally figured out that it is a…
