That superheroes show on SciFi

So I watched a bit of it tonight.

Stan Lee chewed them up and down about giving away their secret identities.

Apparently no superhero EVER gives away that real name.

Have you EVER seen Spider-Man give away that critical bit of info?

Well, uh, sorry, Stan. Yes.

So apparently thanks to Civil War, Spider-Man is not a superhero now.

Well, arguably, it's OK if you're Fantastic (and have a fortress skyscraper and infinite wealth) but for most folks, it's simply not safe for people around you.

The argument about cops and firemen and politicians handling it just fine doesn't wash for two reasons. Politicians aren't heroes, generally, and they have guards. Cops and firemen and other public servants aren't highly visible targets whose families should be gone after... and in the cases where they are, what do we get? UNDERCOVER cops.

Civil War is an interesting thing to investigate, but what it's done? BAD idea. Totally ruins Spider-Man, for instance.
