I just read Civil War 7.

I am now going to desubscribe to every Marvel comic in their 'base' line except Exiles, which is on probation.

the heck happened?

The short version: "I guess the A on his head really did stand for France."

The long version: Marvel's Civil War ended with Captain America surrendering to Iron Man's pro-hero-registration heroes. These folks being the ones who: (a) are forcibly drafting anyone with powers or who ever wore a costume as SHIELD agents (b) are holding supers (heroes and villains) without trial in the Negative Zone (c) giving badges to the Green Goblin, Venom, Bullseye, Moonstone and similar good citizens so they can hunt down superheroes who didn't want to be drafted and (d) made a clone of Thor that promptly killed one of the few black super-heroes in the Marvel Universe.

He's right. It's worse than shark jumping badness.

you gotta be kidding me... no really you have to be and wait didn't spidey get a badge and such the heck is venom doing working with him...

you know i supported the badge idea cause it made a lot of legal sense but they took it to Orwellian far too quickly... yuck..... glad I got into DC even if their latest revamp did destroy some favorite character's unique points...

Well, by the time Venom got recruited, Spider-Man had already switched sides.
