A few weeks ago, the nifty lurid purple office chair began making odd popping noises.
Now, this was an Office Depot special, a fairly comfy and nice chair, made out of purest purple (think Baldrick saying that) -- a marvel of the plastic-molder's art.

And, it kept catching one wheel in a 'divot' in the vinyl chair-pad. Well, one day, it broke completely. Shattered plastic. Loud startled noises, alarming the cats, and falling on the floor.

So, for the last few weeks, I've been enjoying a sudden, sharp, return of a bad case of carpal tunnel syndrome. This is because of the lousy chairs I've since been using.
Today, however, I finally gave in and spent a little of the carefully hoarded cash, because if I'm too crippled to be able to

Anyway. New office chair. Pain receding. Much better. We'll see how it works over the next few days.
