Strawberries!

After a while, on Atkins, in the 'ongoing weight loss' stage, you begin to introduce fruit as a carb source.

Strawberries, it seems, are not terribly high in free carbohydrates.

So, dinner tonight was fried hog jowl (don't laugh, it's very good!) with three poached eggs, and (probably too much!) 8 ounces of fresh somewhat sour strawberries. Plus tea with one ounce of heavy cream.
