Chicken Bottoms

Ok....

rubyloot has been reading Snopes.com.

Was anyone else aware that the Subservient Chicken is a Burger King stealth advertisment? The idea being to have 'chicken the way you like it'?

See for yourself!

Um. I always thought it was a BK adsite. It struck me as (if you'll excuse the term) Patently obvious.

Actually, the lack of explicit references to Burger King or their advertising jingles was what confused me.

That, and the chicken would do things that were just a bit too kinky for the BK people.

Ok
I just spent 15 minutes with that, which is a lot for me. I came up with one command (I think it was 'kick') that it didn't follow. Even random obscure ones, but I didn't try anything 'kinky.' c.c;

Bleah. Snopes page is badly coded. No wrap on lines, at least on Safari (meaning they coded it to work on IE and then stopped there), so I have to page horizontally to read it.

How about that Burger King logo when it first loads?

Was it there in the original versions?

I don't remember seeing it. Might've not been looking.

I remember it being there in the original version, yes. It was pretty subtle, though, and if you weren't paying attention (which you probably weren't), it wouldn't register.

Confirmed. That logo is on for a very short time, and I didn't see it two weeks or so ago when I first tripped over this weird thing.
